You'll contribute to the success of this fast growing global delivery solutions business for International Cross-border trade by bringing expertise, commitment, and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. \n\nThis is a role for someone who enjoys responsibility, has strong communication and problem-solving skills, thrives in a fast-moving environment, has a data driven and analytical approach and is ready to make a meaningful impact in an organization that is passionate about its core values and customer excellence.\n\nWorking with stakeholders across the business the Senior Operations Manager has overall responsibility for Operations including Planning, Warehouse P&L, Warehouse Health & KPI's, Airfreight, Aviation Security, Compliance, Transport, Export & Import Clearance, H&S, Disaster Recovery and Continuous Improvement & Best Practice.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n- Overall responsibility for operations ensuring that processes run efficiently and effectively\n- Be the Voice of Operations and the Operations Champion throughout the business\n- Responsibility for operational planning using a data driven and analytical approach\n- Manage, lead, train and mentor cross functional direct reports (Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager and Compliance & Aviation Security Manager) whilst having overall responsibility for the wider Operations Team (circa 20 team members)\n- Responsibility for the operations budget & operations/warehouse P&L\n- Responsibility for driving improvements, best practice and operational excellence\n- Develop & implement operational strategies and SOP's\n- Responsibility for warehouse health, procurement, KPI's and operational performance\n- Responsibility for always ensuring compliance with regulations and health & safety standards\n- Overall responsibility for relationships with regulatory bodies and external consultants ie CAA, HMRC (Border Force, MOU, Trading Standards etc), Traffic Commissioner\n- Responsibility for disaster recovery planning which is regularly reviewed and tested\n\nAll applicants must have previous experience working for an Interntional eCommerce Cross-Border Delivery solutions business.\n\nYou will also need to be :\n- A good communicator\n- Problem solver\n- Flexible on hours\n- Understand bonded warehouses\n- Have the ability to work under pressure and cope in fast paced environment\n- Understand and have experience in running an eCommerce operation within an Interntionl cross border deliver business\n- Have the drive to thrive in an organisation growing quickly\n- Be customer focused\n- Be data driven\n- Understand numbers in Operations\n- Understand the power of data and how it drives improvement\n- Ideally have experience in the re-location of a warehouse, as they hve expansion plans to move to bigger premises in the future\n\nWhy join the business :\n- Be part of a fast-growing, award-winning company redefining cross-border delivery\n- Work with a supportive, high-performing team\n- Make a meaningful impact - and see the results of your work\n- Excellent package of circa £70,000 Basic salary plus 10% bonus
