As Senior National Account Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the Grocery & Discounter channel, leading strategy, execution and commercial delivery across key customers.
This is not a maintenance role. You’ll be expected to set direction, challenge thinking, and deliver growth, acting as the commercial lead for the channel internally and a credible, value-adding partner externally.
You’ll own the P&L, lead JBPs, unlock whitespace and ensure your business shows up brilliantly in store through strong feature, display and activation.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Full P&L ownership across Grocery & Discounters, delivering against NIV, GM% and profit targets
- Setting and executing the channel strategy, identifying new formats, distribution opportunities and growth levers
- Leading JBPs and senior buyer relationships, with confidence and commercial edge
- Negotiating base pricing, promotions, investment strategy and overriders
- Owning forecasting, promo planning and performance reviews by customer
- Working cross-functionally with Supply, Finance, Marketing and Category to deliver at pace
- Acting as a category advocate externally and brand champion internally
- Supporting NPD launches and brand-led activity to accelerate rate of sale

You’ll likely bring:
- 5+ years’ FMCG account management experience
- Proven ownership of at least one Top 5 Grocer and/or leading Discounter
- Strong commercial and financial acumen (P&L, pricing, promo effectiveness, forecasting)
- Experience leading complex negotiations and JBPs
- A proactive, delivery-led mindset – someone who gets things done
- Comfort operating in a lean, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
