Senior Mechanical Project Manager | M&E Building Services | South Coast / M3 Corridor | £65,000£80,000 + Car / Allowance + BonusThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering mechanical installation projects across the South Coast and along the M3 corridorThe company is a well-established and highly regarded M&E Building Services contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical installations across commercial, education, healthcare, residential, and specialist environments.With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued business growth, they are now looking to strengthen their project delivery team with the appointment of an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager.Projects typically range from small works through to larger multi-million pound mechanical building services installations and include HVAC systems, plant rooms, pipework installations, ventilation systems, heating systems, public health services, and associated mechanical infrastructure.This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion while working closely with clients, consultants, commercial teams, subcontractors, and site delivery teams.Role ResponsibilitiesManaging mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completionOverseeing project programmes, ensuring works are delivered on time and within budgetCoordinating mechanical subcontractors, specialist suppliers, and installation teamsWorking closely with commercial teams to manage project costs, variations, and financial performanceManaging health & safety compliance and ensuring works are delivered in line with industry standardsAttending client and consultant meetings throughout the lifecycle of projectsLeading and supporting site delivery teams to ensure successful project deliveryMonitoring installation quality and ensuring compliance with design specificationsSupporting commissioning activities and ensuring successful project handoverProjects are delivered across the South Coast and along the M3 corridor, and the role will involve a mixture of site visits, project meetings, and coordination with internal delivery teams.Candidate RequirementsThe successful candidate will have a strong background delivering mechanical building services projects within the M&E contracting sector.Key requirements include:Proven experience operating as a Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Project ManagerStrong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, pipework installations, ventilation systems, plant rooms, heating systems, and public health servicesExperience delivering mechanical building services installations from pre-construction through to final handoverAbility to manage subcontractors, consultants, clients, and internal project teamsStrong programme management and organisational skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilityRelevant mechanical engineering or building services qualifications would be advantageousThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering a varied portfolio of mechanical building services projects across the region while offering genuine long-term career progression.Remuneration Package Senior Mechanical Project Manager£65,000 £80,000 Car or Car Allowance Bonus Scheme Pension Holiday Allowance Additional BenefitsThis role would suit candidates currently working as: Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contracts Manager, Mechanical Building Services Project Manager, or M&E Project Manager.Next StepsPlease apply online today, or contact Rob at David Leslie Ltd for an informal and confidential discussion.About David Leslie LtdDavid Leslie Ltd is a family-run construction recruitment consultancy with over 20 years experience connecting professionals and employers across the UK.
