With a strong pipeline of prestigious projects, the company is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team immediately.\n\nRole Summary:\n\nAs a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for mechanical packages on major projects with values typically ranging from £5 million and above. You will work closely with the pre-construction team and play a key role in securing future projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPrepare detailed mechanical cost estimates and tender submissions for projects valued £5m+\nInterpret project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to formulate competitive bids\nLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and evaluate pricing\nConduct site visits as required to assess project requirements and constraints\nAnalyse and assess risk factors affecting cost and project delivery\nAttend tender meetings and present estimates to internal stakeholders and clients\nCollaborate with internal teams including design, procurement, and project management\nMaintain awareness of current industry and market trends impacting pricing and supply chain \n\nRequirements:\n\nProven background as a Mechanical Estimator within the building services or M&E contracting sector\nExperience estimating large-scale mechanical packages (£5m+) on commercial or residential developments\nStrong technical knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, public health)\nExcellent understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards\nProficiency in estimation software (e.g.
