Job Description

A new and interesting opportunity is available for a senior mechanical estimator from a building services background, to join a growing business based in the Leeds area.\nThis established business is looking for an estimator to join their existing pre-Construction / estimating team, where you’ll play a key role in developing robust cost plans, supporting informed decision-making, and ensuring projects are commercially sound and affordable.\nThis particular role will have a key focus on the energy services sector in terms of replacing existing plant for energy efficient and carbon neutral solutions across various sectors including health, education, leisure, and commercial.\nThere will be a heavy mechanical leaning so those from a mechanical contractor background would be of particular interest however there maybe some elements of electrical and construction to factor in also.\nThis is a great opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of energy services and construction projects, with real influence on outcomes from an early stage.\nTherefore, if you fit the following criteria they would like to hear from you;\n * Have a proven track record as an Estimator within a Mechanical, MEP and / or Energy Services business.\n * Covering the areas such as commercial refurbishment, energy efficiency projects, Heat networks, and energy centres\n * Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail\n * Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills\n * Experience working within an estimating or pre-construction team, with high levels of client interface\nThis opportunity is a great chance to be part of a collaborative, knowledgeable team working on projects that genuinely matter delivering efficient, sustainable, and well-planned solutions.\nIf you enjoy problem-solving, early-stage project involvement, and being trusted for your commercial insight, this role offers both challenge and progression.\nThey can also offer a strong salary and package, flexible working along with leading market presence.\nIf you would like to progress your application further I would be pleased to hear from you, therefore if you can send a full and up to date CV detailing your career history and I will be in touch to discuss the opportunity further
