As we grow, we’re building teams where people thrive, grow, and develop long-term careers.\n\nWhat will you be doing as our new Senior Mechanical Engineer?\n\nAs our new Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative water solutions. You’ll lead technical delivery, drive sustainable and cost-effective design decisions, and guide junior engineers to deliver work that’s safe, future-proof, and built to last.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nLead and review mechanical designs to ensure compliance, safety, and performance excellence.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.\nPromote the use of digital tools and modular construction techniques.\nDrive Health & Safety by design, identifying improvements and reducing whole-life costs.\nChampion sustainability, carbon reduction, and innovation across the design lifecycle.\nMentor junior engineers and create a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.\nWork closely with project and engineering leaders, contributing to strategic decisions.What You’ll Bring\n\nA degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).\nPreferably chartered, or working towards chartered status.\nProven experience in mechanical design—ideally in the water sector or a similar complex infrastructure environment.\nStrong understanding of industry standards, health and safety legislation, and construction principles.\nLeadership experience with a passion for coaching, mentoring and developing others.\nProficiency in CAD and engineering software.\nConfident decision-maker, with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.About you:\n\nWe’re not just delivering capital projects—we’re helping to secure water for future .
