Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Overview My client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer capable of working independently. The role involves producing and reviewing mechanical designs, preparing reports and specifications, carrying out Part L assessments, including full Stage 4 design verification. Candidates should have experience in a contracting design environment and a good understanding of builder’s work coordination. The company delivers mechanical and electrical services across commercial and industrial projects, from design through to installation, commissioning and maintenance.

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:

Produce and review mechanical designs for commercial and industrial projects Work independently and manage own workload Prepare technical reports and specifications Carry out Part L energy assessments and ensure compliance Review and verify Stage 4 designs before construction Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure builder’s work requirements are met Support project delivery through to installation and commissioning The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
