Job Description Introduction to the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative, innovative thinker to join the British Book Award-winning marketing team at 4th Estate and William Collins, with a focus on the William Collins and Fontana imprints. 4th Estate and William Collins are home to internationally acclaimed and bestselling authors such as Hilary Mantel, Elizabeth Day, Max Hastings, Yomi Adegoke, Boris Johnson, Daniel Kahneman, Nigel Slater, Sahil Bloom, Christina Lamb and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie alongside some of the most exciting new voices in literature. Recent campaign highlights include Asako Yuzuki’s Butter, Coco Mellors’ Blue Sisters, Andrew Lownie’s Entitled, Boris Johnson’s Unleashed and Jung Chang’s Fly, Wild Swans. Key tasks and accountabilities
Delivering strategic, creative and innovative campaigns for major releases and authors across the division Ensuring that delivery of all creative, media and digital plans are on brief and in budget Measuring and evaluating campaigns, sharing learnings and optimising for future activity Working with brand and media partners to leverage reader interest and expand our consumer reach Working closely with the Publishing Director on the growth and development of Fontana brand strategy Supporting a culture of collaboration and integration, working closely with Publicity, Sales and Editorial to ensure that all stakeholder needs are met
