Senior Marine Engineer (Commercial Shipping Capability) – Fareham/ Hybrid Excellent salary+ generous benefits
You will have opportunity to influence designs and team processes to improve designs, build quality and efficiency. Your day-to-day work will include design of mechanical systems and arrangements with supporting calculations, supporting the review of production engineering 3D models, inter-departmental communication and liaising with suppliers, partners and clients to develop design solutions.
Job Responsibilities: System design and equipment selection development and integration using 2D and 3D modelling. Surveys to support design changes and investigations Engineering investigations to resolve in-service defects and safety issues Project Management of engineering tasks and projects Engaging with the wider industry
Required Skills & Qualifications: You will have an HNC/HND and/or a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline i.e. Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
