Our Financial Management, People, and Engagement team supports Macquarie Asset Management by delivering financial control, governance, and strategic insights. We work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulatory requirements. Our team plays a key role in driving financial excellence and supporting the growth of our business in the EMEA region.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our advertised location.

What role will you play?
As Financial Controller for Macquarie Asset Management in the EMEA region, you will lead our finance teams in London and Luxembourg, providing financial oversight and governance. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including regional and global finance heads, business leaders, and external auditors, to ensure effective legal entity management and financial control. In this role, you will also support regulatory reporting, oversee financial statements under Lux GAAP/UK GAAP, and drive process improvements and standardisation initiatives.
What you offer
Postgraduate accounting qualification, preferably ACCA, ACA, or CPA
Over 8 years' experience in financial accounting, financial control, or external audit
Experience in asset management, financial services, or banking
Proven people management and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage stakeholders across different locations and time zones
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a forward-thinking approach
Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives
