Senior Manager - Strategic Finance \n\nContract role\n\nReading | Hybrid (2/3 days in office)\n\nIn this role, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business and external advisors to deliver high-quality financial reporting and technical accounting outputs. You'll play a key role in shaping reporting for complex strategic initiatives-so strong communication, influencing, and project management skills are essential.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\n Preparing and supporting the creation of detailed technical accounting papers for complex and material transactions under IFRS\n\n Delivering accurate, timely financial information to support strategic project reporting\n\n Leading and coordinating multiple workstreams across the CFO function and external advisors\n\n Challenging external advisors to drive efficiency and high-quality outputs\n\n Supporting automation, process improvement, and reporting enhancement initiatives\n\n Ensuring all reporting meets audit requirements and stands up to scrutiny from internal and external stakeholders\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\n✔ Qualified Accountant with experience in large or listed organisations\n\n✔ Deep IFRS knowledge - especially IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 (UK GAAP a bonus)\n\n✔ Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments (Telco experience a plus)\n\n✔ Strong understanding of reporting automation and process improvement\n\n✔ Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills\n\n✔ Proven experience leading or contributing to complex project work and delivering credible results\n\n✔ Excellent financial reporting, technical accounting, audit coordination, and financial modelling capabilities\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n\nConfidence working independently and guiding others\nStrong analytical, planning, and organisational skills\nAbility to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders\nA proactive mindset and a drive for continuous improvementTo apply for the Senior Manager - Strategic Finance please send your CV to (url removed) \n\nProject People is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
