Position Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Manager to lead Diligent’s Go‑to‑Market Readiness (GTMR) team on a maternity‑leave contract. The role oversees the global AE readiness strategy and manages a team of Program Managers who design and deliver programs that enable sellers to perform at their best.
The GTMR team sits at the center of Diligent’s commercial engine, ensuring every seller is prepared, aligned, and equipped with the training, messaging and tools needed to create pipeline, progress deals and represent our solutions with confidence. The work is highly collaborative and thrives in person; candidates are expected to work in the office at least three days a week and onsite 50% of the time if within commuting distance of a Diligent hub.
Key Responsibilities
Own the AE Readiness Strategy – set vision, priorities and operating rhythm for onboarding, everboarding, methodology reinforcement and continuous AE development across regions.
Lead and Develop a High‑Performing Team – manage a group of Program Managers responsible for delivering global enablement programs; coach, clarify and direct work to be impactful.
Drive Onboarding and Continuous Learning – oversee structured onboarding for new AEs and a monthly everboarding cadence that supports skill growth without unduly taking sellers away from customers.
Design and Guide Enablement Programs – shape programs, playbooks and resources that strengthen AE performance—from core sales skills and messaging to competitive positioning and objection handling.
Partner Across the GTM Ecosystem – collaborate with Product Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Sales Ops and Sales Leadership to keep strategy and messaging aligned from conversation to renewal.
Lead Launch Readiness – own the readiness plan for new products, solutions and campaigns; ensure AEs have clear guidance and confident talk tracks ahead of each launch.
Reinforce the Diligent Way – work with the Methodology Program Manager to strengthen adoption of Command of the Message, MEDDICC and Challenger across the AE community.
Measure and Communicate Impact – use data from Salesforce, Gong, Diligent Academy and Airtable to track readiness trends, identify skill gaps and report program effectiveness.
Deliver Updates in Key Forums – share insights and enablement updates during QBRs, manager forums and regional reviews, ensuring leaders can see what’s working and what needs attention.
Travel – visit US hubs approximately 10% of the time to maintain global alignment and support regional initiatives.

Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC/MEDDPICC, Challenger and Command of the Message.

What Success Looks Like
AEs ramp faster and perform with greater confidence.
Consistent execution of the Diligent Way across the sales organization.
Programs and resources that feel practical, relevant and aligned to business priorities.
Strong cross‑functional alignment around messaging and GTM execution.
Clear improvements in AE pipeline quality, qualification and deal progression.
