A rapidly expanding, independent, family-owned business in the construction supply sector is seeking a Senior Management Accountant. This is an exclusive search by Venture Recruitment Partners for a finance professional to support the Finance Director in delivering accurate, timely insights to senior stakeholders. The role offers the opportunity to shape analysis and reporting frameworks within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and review of monthly management accounts across multiple cost centres Variance analysis against budget and forecast, with clear commentary Monthly forecasting in collaboration with the Financial Controller KPI reporting and ongoing development of performance metrics Maintenance of nominal ledger and balance sheet integrity Risk management through reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and stock analysis Fixed asset management and ERP system migration support Business development initiatives, including vehicle cost reporting and ERP optimisation Annual audit preparation and liaison with external auditors Budget cycle management, including modelling, stakeholder engagement, and ERP integration Candidate Profile
