Attribution Search is currently partnering with a leading global hedge fund to hire a Financial Accountant on a 9-month contract, supporting a major restructuring project and transition away from outsourced bookkeeping.

This role sits within the management company / corporate accounting function and offers the opportunity to take full ownership of statutory accounts, consolidation, and audit preparation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing consolidated accounts across multiple jurisdictions

• Building accounts from General Ledger → Trial Balance → Financial Statements

• Managing statutory reporting and audit processes for 2025 year-end.

• Liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders

• Producing management information and ad-hoc reporting

• Taking over processes from outsourced accounting providers

• Working hands-on with data, reconciliations and spreadsheet analysis

The business is looking for:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CA) essential

• Experience within hedge funds, asset management, or similar financial services.

• Strong technical accounting and consolidation knowledge.

• Pragmatic, hands-on operator who enjoys ownership of work

• Strong Excel ability and comfortable manipulating data

• Able to work under tight timelines and take initiative
