About the Role Our client is a fast-growing science and technology organisation developing a world-class research campus in Oxford. They are seeking an electrically biased Senior Maintenance Engineer to play a key role across both the construction phase and long-term operation of a high-spec, technically complex site. The first 12–18 months will focus on commissioning, construction integration, and operational readiness, including advising contractors and establishing maintenance strategies ahead of handover. Post-completion, you will lead maintenance delivery, managing a team to ensure high performance, reliability, and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed knowledge of building services systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC) during construction and commissioning Act as engineering lead, advising contractors on installation, commissioning, and long-term maintainability Establish maintenance strategies, PPM schedules, and operational procedures ahead of handover Lead and manage maintenance operations, ensuring performance, compliance, and uptime Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance, acting as escalation point for complex faults Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality, safety, and delivery standards Essential Requi...
