Luxury Travel Senior Sales Consultant
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Senior Reservations & Sales Consultant to join our growing luxury travel team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to contact for US-based clients and travel advisors, crafting and booking bespoke itineraries. Using your deep destination knowledge and flair for service, you’ll manage the booking process from start to finish, ensuring every journey is seamless, memorable, and exceeds expectations.
This is a fast-paced, high-touch environment where no two days are the same. We work with a wide variety of travel budgets and experiences, and we’re looking for someone ambitious, motivated, and ready to make an impact in the US market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to reservation inquiries from US travel agents and clients.
- Design and sell tailored luxury travel itineraries, including premium accommodation, transfers, and unique local experiences.
- Provide expert recommendations and advice on a wide range of destinations and properties in the Caribbean and Indian Ocean.
- Collaborate with hotels and local offices to confirm availability, secure special requests, and negotiate competitive rates.
- Ensure all travel documentation is accurate and delivered on time.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client experiences through upgrades, additional services, and tailored add-ons.
- Resolve client issues.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, new properties, and relevant travel regulations for US travellers.
Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years in travel reservations, sales, or operations, ideally within the luxury travel sector or DMC environment.
- Experience of Caribbean destinations; experience with Indian Ocean locations is a plus.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, capable of managing complex itineraries and multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional phone presence.
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to think on your feet in dynamic situations.
- Proven sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
