Overview A leading UK charity are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their legal team for a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will involve leading on complex, high-impact projects, delivering both strategic and operational contracting legal advice, specifically advising the Marketing, Fundraising and Engagement Directorate. Role Responsibilities The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for advising on legal matters relating to corporate partnerships and supplier contracts. You will also advise the technology department and help deliver the legal service strategy and improve processes and compliance across the charity. Qualifications To be considered, you should be a qualified lawyer with considerable post-qualification experience in contract and commercial law, data protection law and have experience of drafting complex agreements. A background in consumer, charity and/or fundraising law is highly desirable, as is knowledge of intellectual property law and payment systems. Remuneration & Benefits On offer is a salary between £72,000-£77,000 (dependent on experience) as well as a range of benefits.
