\nYour new role In this role, you will provide proactive, commercially focused legal support across a broad range of matters involving industrial automation, product sales, customer services and digital solutions. You'll play a key, trusted role in enabling the business to manage risk effectively and operate efficiently responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and negotiating a variety of sales agreements within the industrial automation space
  • \n\t
  • Supporting commercial, sales and tendering teams, providing clear advice on risk, governance and contractual terms
  • \n\t
  • Advising on internal rules, approval processes and corporate governance
  • \n\t
  • Managing external counsel when required
  • \n\t
  • Providing guidance on software licencing, IP matters and digital focused contracts
  • \n\t
  • Advising on competition law compliance in collaboration with internal compliance experts
  • \n\t
  • Assisting the business in resolving claims and disputes
  • \n\t
  • Developing and enhancing template documents, Q&As and legal process efficiencies
  • \n\t
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Germany, EMEA and other regions on cross‑border initiatives
  • \n\t
  • Delivering legal training to business stakeholders and contributing to legal team capability
  • \n
\n\n

\nWhat you'll need to succeed

\n\n
    \n\t
  • UK Qualified Solicitor
  • \n\t
  • Strong experience advising on commercial projects and sales contracts
  • \n\t
  • Familiarity with engineering contracts and standard forms such as NEC4 and MF/1
  • \n\t
  • Experience or interest in AI, digital solutions and LegalTech
  • \n\t
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with senior stakeholders
  • \n\t
  • A flexible, proactive mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities
  • \n\t
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • \n\t
  • Highly motivated, analytical and confident, operating in a fast-paced environment
  • \n
