Senior Legal Counsel

Join a major FTSE-listed, household-name organisation that sits at the forefront of the UK consumer services sector. As Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the business to deliver strong commercial outcomes across a diverse portfolio of projects and supplier arrangements. You’ll support ongoing innovation within a complex, multi-regulated environment and help shape the legal frameworks that underpin a broad suite of essential consumer products.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive commercial outcomes by supporting a wide range of high-value commercial projects and key supplier agreements.
• Work closely with key teams to develop solutions that effectively manage legal and regulatory risk while advancing the company’s strategic goals.
• Provide mentorship, guidance and technical expertise to junior members of the legal team on complex commercial matters.
• Advise on commercial, technology and SaaS contracts across multiple business lines.
• Develop and maintain legal documentation for products, including terms and conditions, marketing and brand materials, internal policies, and guidance for partner and technology teams.
• Deliver commercially focused legal advice to business teams supporting customer-facing products, including Customer Support, Communications, Sales, Marketing and partner networks.

Required Skills & Experience

• A strong legal background with prior in-house experience is essential.
• Experience working with or within a consumer-facing business, ideally in technology, financial services, telecoms or energy.
• Ability to start at short notice
