Senior Commercial Counsel - Global Tech Company - Belfast (Hybrid (1 office day)
Conekt Legal is working exclusively with this fast paced global technology company to recruit a senior commercial counsel into their growing commercial in‑house legal team in Belfast.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial lawyer/counsel to join a talented global legal team and to support a high‑growth, market‑leading tech business. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated products and services used internationally, within a collaborative, forward‑thinking legal function.
You will play a key role in enabling commercial success, partnering closely with sales, procurement, and senior stakeholders while advising on complex technology‑driven transactions.

Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including outbound licensing, SaaS, professional services, channel partner, NDA, and other technology‑related contracts
Anticipate contractual risks and proactively drive efficient, commercial solutions
Support the development and rollout of standardised legal processes and procedures
Provide legal support to procurement and business teams on vendor and supplier agreements
Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, and interpretation of terms
Maintain and update contract templates and playbooks
You will be!
Qualified Solicitor - (NI/ROI/England & Wales)
6+ years PQE gained working either in‑house or within private practice
Previous experience of negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts to include SaaS agreements, software licence agreements
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders throughout a global business
Excellent levels of attention to detail with strong legal drafting skills
Collaborative approach with the ability to work well as part of a cohesive team
