Job description: Lead the Data Protection sub-team, managing and developing talent.

Shape and implement the Firms data protection compliance strategy.

Advise on complex data protection matters, including international data transfers and regulatory changes.

Oversee data breach responses and data subject rights requests.

Deliver training and guidance to teams across the Firm.

Collaborate with stakeholders in IT, HR, Procurement, and more.

Drive continuous improvement in risk management and compliance frameworks.

Required profile: Qualified lawyer with significant data protection and compliance experience in a leading law firm or equivalent.

Proven leadership and line management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Deep understanding of the regulatory environment for law firms.

Resilient, solution-driven, and able to deliver clear advice across international boundaries.

Commercial, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects under pressure.
