Job Description
Senior Project Manager – IT
c£70,000 + Car
Birmingham / hybrid (3 days a week working onsite in office in Birmingham)
We’re looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join a respected plc in Birmingham, delivering medium to large, complex technology projects from end to end.
What you’ll do
Lead the planning, delivery, and governance of IT projects
Manage scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies
Act as the key link between technology teams and the business
Lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
Drive strong stakeholder engagement, governance, and post-implementation reviews
What we’re looking for
5 years+ experience in project management and technology delivery
Strong knowledge of software development and system integration
Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
Knowledge of middleware technologies (APIs, message brokers, SOA)
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Project Management certification (PMP/CPM) desirable
