How You Will Make an Impact

  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and promoting a supportive workplace.
  • Lead strategic talent acquisition initiatives, focusing on attracting and onboarding top talent to support transformation.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify and address training and development needs to align with business priorities.
  • Drive talent development and succession planning to ensure readiness for future leadership roles.
  • Champion a culture of high performance through goal-setting, feedback, and recognition initiatives.
  • Manage large-scale transitions and organizational changes with a strategic and hands-on approach.

What Makes You A Great Fit

  • Strong UK HR experience of 5-10 years, with a proven track record as an HR Business Partner, especially within commercial functions, and extensive experience partnering with senior leadership in fast-paced, complex environments such as Pharma, FMCG, or Healthcare.
  • Proven leadership potential, with aspirations to grow into an HR Director role.
  • A true self-starter with a strong delivery focus, capable of taking full ownership and independently driving initiatives from concept to successful implementation. You thrive on tackling challenges and transforming ideas into tangible results.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with expertise in conflict resolution and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic business transformation and manage significant organizational change with a hands-on, proactive approach. You don't just advise; you roll up your sleeves and make things happen.
  • A strong UK focus is essential, including a deep understanding of UK employment laws and market dynamics. Familiarity with the Reading market and surrounding regions is highly valued.
  • A passionate, confident, and highly proactive 'can-do' attitude, consistently seeking opportunities to innovate and improve, and ready to take the lead in complex situations.
