Job Description

At Netex UK, we are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join our People team on a permanent, full-time contract (37.5 hours per week). This is a key role supporting the people agenda across the business, with real scope to influence culture, strengthen manager capability, and help shape an excellent employee experience.


You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and line managers, leading on key HR activity across recruitment, employee relations, engagement, wellbeing, performance, and policy development. You’ll also play an important part in supporting our employer brand and helping us build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.


What you’ll be doing

  • Owning and managing end-to-end recruitment across the UK.
  • Supporting employer brand activity in partnership with Marketing and Global HR.
  • Leading on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability cases.
  • Supporting engagement survey activity and using data to identify improvement areas.
  • Coaching and advising managers on HR best practice, policies, and people management.
  • Supporting wellbeing initiatives and helping managers respond appropriately to absence and wellbeing concerns.
  • Contributing to the development and review of HR policies aligned with UK employment law and global standards.
  • Supporting payroll accuracy, HR administration, and employee records management.
  • Leading or contributing to strategic HR projects that improve the employee experience and organisational effectiveness.


About you


We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in a standalone HR role, ideally as an HR Advisor or similar.
  • Experience in the legal and employment aspects of human resources.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
  • A strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Good working knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • A resilient, adaptable, and collaborative approach.


Desirable

  • CIPD Level 5, or working towards it.
  • Spanish language skills, or a willingness to learn.
