We are now seeking an experienced Senior Highways Estimator to join our growing team and play a key role in our continued success.

Key Duties:

• Prepare accurate, detailed, and competitive cost estimates for highways and civil engineering projects from first principles.
• Review tender documents, undertake quantity take-offs, analyse risks, and develop robust pricing strategies using appropriate pricing and estimating frameworks.
• Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain and negotiate quotations.
• Contribute to tender submissions, adjudication meetings, and handover of successful bids to delivery teams.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (essential)
• Proven experience as a Senior or Highways Estimator within the civil engineering or asphalt/highways sector, with demonstrable NEC contract experience (essential)
• Strong knowledge of highway construction methods, materials, current market rates, and pricing & estimating frameworks
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Professional qualification (e.g. RICS, CIOB or equivalent) desirable; Full UK driving licence desirable
