Senior Heritage Consultant – Cambridge

£40,000 – £48,000 | Hybrid & Flexible Hours | 25 Days Holiday + BH

Founded in the 1940s, they’ve grown to over 280 people across 11 UK offices and built a reputation for breathing new life into listed treasures while delivering bold, modern designs in historic settings. Their work spans cultural, master planning, ecclesiastical, public, hospitality, residential and more – always rooted in context, quality, and a clear design vision.

You’ll be doing:

• Leading heritage advice across East Anglia projects
• Archival research, site analysis & detailed report writing
• Acting as heritage lead, liaising with clients & stakeholders
• Preparing fee proposals & supporting business development
• Mentoring junior staff and overseeing project workloads

What you’ll need:

• 7+ years in building conservation/heritage planning
• Proven project leadership & mentoring experience
• Strong research & writing skills (GIS a plus)
• Professional membership (IHBC, CIfA)
• Driving licence
