Senior H&S Advisor

Buckinghamshire/Berkshire region.

Permanent

£55,000 - £68,000 plus package

Are you an experienced health & safety professional with strong knowledge of utilities, energy, power or civil engineering and seeking a new position? I have multiple positions across the Buckinghamshire and Berkshire region. I am currently working with a large civil engineering/Utility-focused business in growing their team across the Buckinghamshire & Berkshire region. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience working in health & safety

The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

• Driven and enthusiastic individual with a passion for health & safety
• Work as part of a team across multiple sites over the Buckinghamshire/Berkshire region
• Support the team to create a positive health & safety culture
• Be the go-to for internal and external contractors in providing health & safety advice
• Lead on accident investigations and near misses to identify root causes and implement improvement plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and method statements for sites when required.
• Promote a positive and proactive health & safety culture across the business

The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will have:

• 3 years of experience working in health & safety
• Previous experience working in utilities, energy, power or civil engineering.
• Hold a NEBOSH certificate with IOSH membership
• Driving license
• Previously worked in the construction or civil engineering industry, so has site experience
• Happy to work in a hybrid position with travel, so a driving license is required.
• Strong communicator and problem solver approach
