Job Description
HSE Advisor – Job Summary
The HSE Advisor will support and promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture by ensuring compliance with legal requirements, management systems, and agreed processes. The role requires a proactive, data-driven approach to risk management, effective stakeholder collaboration, and the application of advanced HSE knowledge across project and site activities.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a proactive HSE culture through leadership, engagement, and continuous improvement. Ensure HSE compliance using established systems, procedures, and legal registers. Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Coordinate safety inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analysis. Monitor HSE performance and report incidents and trends using reporting tools (e.g. Synergi). Lead and participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, safety walks, and audits. Liaise effectively with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to improve site safety performance.

Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ HSE experience, ideally within onshore renewables or construction. NEBOSH (Level 3 minimum) or equivalent HSE qualification. Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with contractors and conducting audits and investigations. IT literate (MS Office; Synergi knowledge advantageous). Valid site safety passport (CSCS/CCNSG) and clean UK driving licence.
