A leading global investment firm is looking to appoint a Senior Manager within its Group Finance team in London.


This is a senior, high-impact role with significant exposure to executive leadership, offering ownership of group reporting, influence over finance strategy, and the opportunity to lead and develop others within a best-in-class finance function.


The Role

You will lead the delivery of group financial reporting, oversee consolidation processes, and act as a key business partner to senior stakeholders. The role combines technical expertise, leadership, and strategic input across a complex global organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of group financial reporting, providing clear and insightful analysis to senior leadership
  • Own the consolidation of multi-currency group management accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards
  • Take ownership of the month-end and year-end close processes, driving efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Act as the primary contact for external auditors, managing the audit process end-to-end
  • Partner with senior stakeholders (including CFO and business leaders) to provide financial insight and challenge
  • Lead the development and enhancement of group accounting policies and reporting frameworks
  • Review and approve key accounting judgements and consolidation entries
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, driving performance insight
  • Lead regulatory reporting requirements across the Group
  • Take a leading role in acquisition accounting and integration activities
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
  • Strengthen the financial control environment and governance frameworks
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional and global projects
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture


About You

  • Qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) with strong technical expertise
  • Extensive experience in group reporting within a multi-entity, international environment
  • Proven ability to operate at a senior level, engaging and influencing stakeholders
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to develop and mentor others
  • Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insight
  • Highly organised, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail with sound judgement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, solutions-driven, and focused on continuous improvement
