Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer - Leeds - £45-£55K + Excellent Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a leading, employee-owned multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Leeds. Operating at the forefront of the built environment, the business delivers high-quality Civil, Structural and Geoenvironmental Engineering services across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer with 5-10 years' experience to support and lead project delivery nationwide. The Role As a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer, you will take a lead role in delivering geoenvironmental projects, providing technical expertise and supporting both infrastructure and structural engineering teams.

Leading the production of Phase I & II geoenvironmental reports Designing and managing ground investigation projects Overseeing site works, including logging of soil and rock Developing remediation strategies and options appraisals Managing project budgets, programmes and subcontractors Liaising with clients, regulators and stakeholders Mentoring and supporting junior team members Ensuring all work meets health, safety and environmental standards

About You

Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or similar 5+ years' post-graduate experience in a consultancy or contractor environment Working towards or achieved Chartered status (Geological Society, CIWEM, CIEH or similar) Strong knowledge of contaminated land, geotechnical engineering and site investigations Experience with ground investigation design and reporting Understanding of DQRA assessments (desirable) Excellent report writing and communication skills Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/work away
