My client, a well-respected, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing team of engineering and design experts, near the diverse, industrial town of Bolton.

Essential Criteria:

A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, or other relevant discipline

Extensive experience of having worked in a design-based role, and in a consultancy setting

Experience of having produced flood risk and drainage strategies, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)

Working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, etc.)

Competent in the use of Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage, and similar software packages

A willingness to learn and develop technical skills through hands-on experienceIt would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant to have the following:

Contributing to a number of projects, developing flood risk and drainage strategies

Working with the wider team to ensure project goals are delivered to the highest standard and within given timeframes and budgetary restrictions

Undertaking the relevant technical analysis using software packages

Preparing and issuing accurate technical information regarding projects, including drawings, calculations, and models

Liaising with a range of public and private stakeholders

Contributing to and carrying out site meetings and inspections

Developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relations
