Job description:
To support the continued growth of our business, BRVZ London is seeking a qualified?Senior Financial Accountant?to join our External Accounting team. BRVZ is the central service provider for one of Europes leading construction companies, STRABAG. With a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence, BRVZ plays a vital role in supporting STRABAGs mission to become the top construction group in Europe with a focus on People, Planet and Progress. As part of our London-based team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality financial services in a dynamic and international environment. Youll work alongside motivated professionals in a transparent and agile organisational structure that values expertise and initiative. Experience in preparation of statutory accounts Management of fixed asset register Clear understanding of intercompany re-charges and reconciliations Excellent knowledge of VAT, CIS, Corporation Tax Performing VAT monitoring Experience in dealing with auditors and in resolving audit queries Experience in process improvement Project Accounting - integrity of costs, revenue ledgers and transaction processing Assist project team with external client audits Preparing and posting accurate Journals, Accruals and Prepayments in line with accounting policies, and accurate cost allocation Statutory processes including VAT and CIS account reconciliation, and submission to HMRC Preparation of transfer pricing document ONS survey submissions Balance Sheet account reconciliations and preparation of required schedules Other ad-hoc duties required by the management
Required profile:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3-5 years of post qualification Financial Accounting experiences in a commercial business environment and construction industry experiences preferred. ACCA, ACMA, or ACA Fully Qualified Able to work independently and perform at a high level of accuracy. Highly committed to meet all deadlines and goals. Flexible to adapt to evolving scope of duties. Effectively prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication and desire to work in a team environment. Embrace, manage and promote change Construction industry experience would be an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft office applications is expected Strong interpersonal skills and a natural capability to develop and maintain meaningful cross- functional relationship Very good English skills
