Responsibilities
Support the annual local audit and accounts filings for our various entities across the APAC region. Collaborate closely with local vendors, service providers, and our corporate legal and tax teams to ensure full compliance with local company filings and tax regulations, including, but not limited to, GST and Corporate Tax matters. Conduct thorough reviews of monthly trial balances to ensure accuracy and the completeness of all accruals, prepayments, and P&L classifications prior to the monthly financial close. Prepare and present monthly reviews of key financial movements, providing insights and analysis on variances. Perform and oversee the reconciliation of key ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are supported by appropriate evidence and documentation. Any other ad-hoc duties upon request pertaining to supporting the global accounting operations of Anaplan.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred. Tenured, progressive experience in accounting, with a strong focus on audit, tax, and international compliance. Experience working in a Global Multinational Organisation.. The ability to be hands‑on and deep in the operational details. An ambitious, self‑starter attitude with the ability to thrive independently and build strong cross‑functional relationships. In‑depth knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and regional financial regulations. Hands‑on experience with major ERP systems Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
