Job Type: Part-time, 20 hours per week, Term time only 39 weeks a year, 6-month contract initially

We are seeking a committed Finance Officer to join our friendly and proactive administration team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the effective financial management of our school and contributing to the success of our pupils.

Day-to-day of the role:

Manage day-to-day financial administration of the school, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately, securely, and in compliance with relevant legislation, financial regulations, and school policies.
Work closely with the Office Manager, Headteacher, and Governing Body to support sound financial decision-making and ensure best value for money.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of financial systems and procedures.
Promote high standards of financial probity and business ethos across the school.
Maintain meticulous financial records and improve systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Financially knowledgeable with experience in financial administration.
Confident using computerised financial management systems.
Highly organised, accurate, and able to prioritise effectively.
Strong communicator with a collaborative approach.
Committed to supporting the school’s ethos and aims.
