The Role We are looking for a technically strong and leadership-focused finance professional to take ownership of Morrisons' external financial reporting and internal financial control environment.
In this critical role, you will be the guardian of our numbers. You will oversee the preparation of all published financial accounts for the Group while simultaneously driving a robust internal control framework. You will lead a talented team of qualified and part-qualified accountants to ensure our results are accurate and compliant.
This is a high-profile position involving close collaboration with the CFO, internal stakeholders, and external auditors to ensure the highest standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
1. External Financial Reporting Statutory Accounts Ownership: Lead the preparation and publication of all external financial accounts for the Morrisons Group. Technical Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all technical accounting requirements, managing a complex mix of IFRS, FRS 102, and FRS 101 across the group and subsidiary entities.
