A well-established and reputable business based in Scarborough is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to influence strategic decision-making and play a key role in driving business performance. Key Responsibilities As the Senior Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:

Providing strategic financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making
Leading budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
Analysing financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Partnering with commercial and operational teams to provide actionable financial guidance
Preparing management reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor business performance
Supporting senior leadership in evaluating investment decisions and business initiatives
Presenting complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levelsIdeal Candidate Profile To succeed in this role, you should ideally have:

A recognised professional accountancy qualification or equivalent experience
Proven experience in finance business partnering or senior management finance roles
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data presentation skills
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge effectively
Commercial awareness and the ability to translate financial data into strategic actionsLocation & Travel This opportunity is easily commutable from Filey, Bridlington, Whitby, Malton, Pickering and surrounding areas.
