Senior Finance Business Partner We are seeking a highly skilled and influential Senior Finance Business Partner to join our FP&A function and act as the primary partner to the Head of Wealth Planning and the Wealth Planning Senior Leadership Team. This role is central to enabling high-quality commercial decision-making through accurate, timely and insightful financial analysis, forward-looking forecasting, and clear storytelling of business performance. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and challenging business strategy, ensuring alignment to TrinityBridge's goals, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance financial performance. This is a significant opportunity to lead and uplift a developing team, embedding stronger processes, improving use of technology and automation, and coaching team members to enhance accuracy, pace and overall performance. You will also work closely with and support the Head of Finance. We entrust our Business Partners to operate with integrity and courage, building strong relationships, constructively challenging senior leaders, and turning numbers into meaningful, actionable insight. Responsibilities
Act as the lead Finance Business Partner to the Wealth Planning business, with particular focus on supporting the Head of Wealth Planning. Build strong, trusted and influential relationships across the Wealth Planning Senior Leadership Team and wider business. Confidently challenge assumptions, provide thoughtful insight and hold stakeholders to account in a constructive and solutions-focused way. Represent the FP&A team and support the Head of Finance on cross-functional initiatives.
Analysis, Insight & Reporting
Deliver accurate, timely and relevant MI, analysis and insight to support performance tracking, forecasting and strategic decision-making. Produce monthly and quarterly reporting packs with clear commentary, trend analysis and commercial implications across FUM, AUA flows, revenue and cost drivers. Lead the annual planning and rolling forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with TrinityBridge's strategic priorities.
Commercial Modelling, Scenario Analysis & M&A Support
Develop robust financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions and support due diligence. Build and maintain scenario-based commercial models to assess the financial impact of strategic and operational decisions – both in response to needs and proactively, identifying new opportunities or areas of concern.
Examples include:
Profitability analysis of products, client segments or service lines Scenario modelling to assess the potential disposal or restructuring of business units Modelling revenue, cost or productivity initiatives Stress-testing business plans, forecasts and operational decisions
Provide clear, insight-driven recommendations highlighting financial implications, risks, opportunities and strategic options. Deliver post-acquisition financial oversight, performance tracking and integration analysis.
Process Improvement & Technology Enablement
Drive continuous improvement of BAU FP&A processes, ensuring reporting becomes more automated, efficient and controlled. Promote the effective use of technology and analytical tools within the team, identifying opportunities to streamline data handling and improve output quality. Champion best practice across FP&A processes and systems.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach and develop two team members, embedding a high-performing culture focused on accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement. Provide hands‑on guidance to uplift team capability, improve analytical quality and ensure consistent delivery standards.
Ad-Hoc Projects
Respond to ad-hoc queries and provide support to business heads, senior management, the CFO and the wider FP&A team.
Regulatory responsibilities / Compliance/T&C
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients. Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business. Follow principles and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the internal requirements set out in the Compliance Manual, local and Group Compliance and Risk policies.
Developing Our People As a line manager, you will be responsible for increasing productivity and developing performance through coaching, mentoring and developing your team members. Essential: Significant experience in a commercial FP&A or Finance Business Partnering role, ideally within wealth management, asset management or broader financial services, partnering directly with senior leadership.
Technical & Analytical Expertise
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with 3+ years PQE. Strong financial modelling, scenario analysis and commercial decision-support skills. Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills with experience managing large and complex datasets. Desirable: Experience with analytical tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Workday Adaptive Planning or similar.
Interpersonal Skills & Leadership
Exceptional communication, influence and relationship-management skills, with the confidence to challenge, negotiate and partner with demanding senior stakeholders. Ability to simplify complex issues and present insight in a clear, commercially compelling way. Proven experience coaching and developing a small team.
