As a key member of our dedicated Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of meeting and event organising, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from start to finish. In this dynamic position, you will serve as the ambassador for the hotel, harnessing your passion for organising events and creating lasting memories. From the moment an inquiry is received, you will expertly handle every detail, from conducting viewings to meticulously planning and coordinating each event. What we offer • £28554.24 per annum, based on experience • Full-time, 40 hours per week Our ideal candidate & the role We are looking for someone that holds and enjoys maintaining high standards, with a keen attention for detail. Working as part of a team you will provide administrative support, and organise all aspects of a client's meeting or function requirements including venue hire, AV equipment and food & beverage; from the initial enquiry up until the day of the event. You will deliver a consistently high standard of event management services to our guests. You'll also undertake a range of follow-up duties including billing and post-event feedback in order to generate repeat business. Your role will include, but is not limited to: • Ensuring that the unoccupied meeting rooms and show round rooms are set as per the company standards and meeting rooms are set as per BEO; • Meeting with the organiser of each event to ensure that they are being looked after and act upon their feedback accordingly. Always show availability to assist them with their queries; • Communicating menu questions, length of wait, product availability, additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests to the Kitchen and the team. The core skills and experience required to succeed: • Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry; • Previous experience in a Meeting & Events space; • Passionate about hospitality with a desire to provide excellent customer service and drive revenue within the MICE segment; • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines and targets; • Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision; • Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing; • To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach and have experience in empowering a team to successfully meet expectations; You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
