Job Title: Senior Estimator
Location: SW London / Surrey (Hybrid working)
Salary: DOE + car allowance
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Estimator with construction experience to join a growing roofing contractor specialising in commercial properties in London and across the South East. Roofing experience is essential, ideally experience with roof refurbishment.
The Company
This company is a specialist commercial property roofing company operating across London and the South East. Working as the main contractor, they carry out projects from £50,000 to £2+million for a wide variety of clients such as supermarkets, local authorities, developers, NHS, MoD, universities, colleges, schools, Church of England and many more!
The role will require
* Visits and survey prospective sites and take accurate measurements and photos
* Assess possible logistic, access or technical issues
* Taking off quantities
* Speak to clients on any specific requirements
* Prepare proposals and tenders in a timely manner
* Price additional work for live projects
* Keep accurate records throughout the pricing process
* Ensure all client communication is recorded on the system
* Take a lead role in the department
Desired Skills & Qualifications
* Must have held an Estimator role within a construction company
* Roofing experience is required
* Strong IT skills in Excel and sharepoint
