CJS Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Estimator with a proven background in stone, ceramic, and tile estimating. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with 3+ years of estimating experience who can lead complex bid efforts, work closely with project stakeholders, and contribute to the company’s success through accurate and competitive pricing strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for commercial and residential stone, ceramic, and tile projects. - Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate quantity take-offs and pricing. - Analyse job-specific risks and opportunities to develop strategic and profitable bid proposals. - Source and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and up-to-date material costs. - Work closely with the preconstruction and project management teams to ensure a seamless transition from estimating to execution. - Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client consultations as needed. - Ensure all estimates comply with applicable codes, client specifications, and company standards.
