Senior Estimator – Roof Refurbishment

Job Title: Senior Estimator – Industrial & Commercial Roofing

Office Based: Portsmouth

Remuneration: £55,000 - £75,000neg + Discretionary Bonus

The role of the Senior Estimator – Roof Refurbishment will involve:

* Senior Estimator position promoting a range of Industrial & Commercial Roofing projects

* Dealing with inbound project enquiries and reviewing scopes of work

* Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database

* Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors

* Carrying out site surveys and measurements to compile further information for quotation

* May be required to visit sites to understand and improve any possible site risks, schedules and logistics

* Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information as required

* Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices

* Producing formal quotations to clients

* May be required to do tasks outside of estimating to assist the team

* Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be a Senior Estimator – Roof Refurbishment with:

* Must have Estimating experience within the Roof refurbishment sector

* Ideal to have experience working on commercial and industrial roofing projects

* A related degree / qualification would be highly advantageous (construction management, civil engineering etc.)

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Understanding of current building regulations

* Strong character that’s not afraid to help the team when necessary

* Confident and articulate
