We’re working with a leading Passive Fire Protection contractor who specialise in Fire Door and Fire Stopping projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they’re now looking to appoint an Estimator to join their commercial team in Central London. Role Overview: The successful Estimator will play a key role in supporting tendering and cost estimation activities for a variety of passive fire projects. Working closely with the commercial and operations teams, you’ll help ensure competitive, accurate, and profitable bids are submitted across new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fire stopping and fire door projects Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations Prepare tender submissions and support the pre-construction process Work closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure accurate cost planning Maintain cost databases and assist with value engineering exercises Support business development through pricing strategies and bid support

Requirements:

Proven experience working as an Estimator within the Passive Fire Protection or related construction industry Knowledge of fire stopping and fire door installation works Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines Team player with a proactive, professional attitude
