Job Description

A long-established, international construction and development contractor with over a century of industry experience. Expereince delivering high-quality projects in sectors including commercial, residential, hospitality, student accommodation, refurbishment, and mixed-use developments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, design-development, and hard-bid estimates\n\n * \n\n Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing using drawings, specifications, and project documents\n\n * \n\n Develop and analyze subcontractor and supplier bid packages\n\n * \n\n Level bids, evaluate scope coverage, and identify gaps or risks\n\n * \n\n Collaborate closely with preconstruction, project management, and leadership teams\n\n * \n\n Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives\n\n * \n\n Maintain historical cost data and support continuous improvement of estimating processes\n\n * \n\n Assist with bid strategy, scheduling input, and project handover meetings\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Senior-level experience in construction estimating (main contracting)\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing\n\n * \n\n Proficiency with estimating software\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and negotiation skills\n\n * \n\n Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability\n\nWhat’s Offered\n\n * \n\n Competitive compensation and benefits\n\n * \n\n Long-term career growth and leadership opportunities\n\n * \n\n Exposure to diverse, high-quality construction projects\n\n * \n\n Collaborative, professional work environment\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an estimator looking to take ownership of the estimating process and contribute strategically to project success
