Location: Brentwood, Essex, South East, UKEstimator / Senior Estimator required in EssexGVR Solutions are currently representing a reputable and very well-established main contractor, based in Essex, who have entered the market for an Estimator / Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team.As a main contractor they provide refurbishment and fit out services in the Aviation, Commercial and Data Centre sectors with project values up to £8m. Salary: £50K - £70K + packageResponsibilities of the Estimator / Senior Estimator:Working closely with the pre-construction Director, Commercial Director and Senior EstimatorOversee all tender and bid activity including pricing, preparation and submission, ensuring accuracy and quality, from initial enquiry and take-offsProvide detailed breakdowns of tenders to directors and clientsAnalysis of risk and opportunityObtain best value sub-contract and supplier prices in order to maximise value for money within secured worksProcurement of sub-contract works including documentation and complianceAttend regular tender review meetingsEffective communication with clients, suppliers, external consultants and colleagues through to senior management.Currently they use Excel but have a self-built system within so it is very efficientThey are looking at getting Bluebeam for Take-offsThe Estimator / Senior Estimator must have/be:5 10 years previous Estimating experience working within a main contracting environment.A team playerPrevious experience as an EstimatorExperience working on fit out or refurbishment contractsIf you are interested in the above Estimator / Senior Estimator role, then please get in touch.TPBN1_UKTJ
