Senior Estate Manager - London
Shape the Future of Mixed-Use Property Operations
Are you a seasoned property professional ready to take on an exciting leadership role managing a dynamic mixed-use estate? We're seeking an exceptional Senior Estate Manager to oversee a prestigious development - featuring residential units, retail space, gymnasium, and theatre facilities.
Lead with Impact - You'll be the principal contact driving operational excellence across a diverse estate, delivering our brand vision while managing a professional team including FM assistants, front desk staff, maintenance, security, and service contractors.
Strategic Influence - Report directly to Heads of Operations/SPV Property and contribute to capital development strategies while managing substantial budgets and complex engineering projects.
Customer-Centric Leadership - Deliver exceptional experiences for residents, commercial tenants, and visitors in an innovative, operationally efficient environment.
Property & Facilities Management
- Oversee comprehensive estate operations including statutory compliance (L8, RIDDOR, Fire Safety)
- Manage planned preventive maintenance programmes and capital projects
- Build strategic relationships with key suppliers and contractors
- Ensure Health & Safety excellence across all operations
- Manage Operating & Capital budgets with full P&L accountability
- Deliver service charge budget performance and identify cost efficiencies
- Collaborate with Finance Team on annual budgets and year-end accounts
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing estates team
- Drive recruitment, coaching, and succession planning initiatives
- Foster a culture aligned with our company's vision and values
Essential Experience
- 10+ years in facility and building management
- Strong technical expertise in block management, equipment maintenance, and H&S regulations
- Industry qualification (NFOPP, RICS, ARLA, ARMA, IRPM, IOSH, NEBOSH, CIBSE, CIOB, IHEEH)
- Proven service charge management experience
- Excellence in customer service and stakeholder management
- Advanced analytical abilities with complex reporting experience
- Strong leadership with team performance management expertise
- Commercial acumen with budget management experience
- Excellent communication skills and systematic approach to work
