A well-established UK-based environmental consultancy, founded in 2007, is seeking a dedicated Environmental Planner to support its mission of advancing sustainable development.

The organisation provides specialist environmental services across both the public and private sectors and is committed to reducing environmental impact through practical, forward-thinking strategies.

Your new role

As an Environmental Planner, you will play a pivotal role in project delivery and team development.

Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring, supporting, and mentoring junior staff

Assisting the Environmental and Planning team on a variety of projects

Ensuring timely delivery and accountability of team objectives

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum of five years' experience in the environmental sector

Proven track record in waste management projects

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A relevant academic degree and progress toward chartered membership with a recognised professional institute

Thorough knowledge of UK environmental legislation, policy, and technological solutions

Strong project management capabilities, including budget, scope, and timeline control

Ability to manage client expectations on sustainability-related matters

Full, clean UK driving licence
