The organisation operates over 150 sites across the UK and internationally, generating annual revenues in excess of £4 billion.\n\nKey responsibilities of the Senior Environmental Consultant will include:\n\nProviding expert advice to clients on environmental compliance, ensuring alignment with legislation, best practice, and internal management systems\nLeading the development, preparation and submission of environmental and producer compliance permit applications, including WEEE and related documentation\nSupporting business development by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and broadening the scope of consultancy services across the UK\nActing as a key point of contact with regulatory bodies, including the Environment Agency, building positive relationships and ensuring effective communication and resolution on technical mattersThe successful Senior Environmental Consultant will have:\n\nDemonstrable experience in a comparable role, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sectors\nA degree in an environmental discipline or a relevant professional qualification such as IEMA\nPractical knowledge of environmental management systems, including ISO 14001 and environmental permitting\nStrong stakeholder engagement skills, including excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesFor more information on this opportunity or to discuss your next career move, please contact Alex Lee on (phone number removed) or \n\nIrwin and Colton are a specialist Environment, Health and Safety recruitment company, based in the Southeast of England we recruit across the UK.
