Senior Engineering Assembly Technician
Our client, a successful manufacturing business close to Norwich, are currently seeking a Senior Engineering Assembly Technician to join their team, working alongside the Workshop Manager.
This is a full time permanent position, based in Norwich.
HOURS : Basic hours 8:00am 17.00pm Mon Fri lunch 1:00-1:30pm HOLIDAYS : 24 days per annum (3 or 4 days to be taken over Christmas shut-down), plus public holidays.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
Engineering Apprenticeship Level 3 or above. 10+ years in mechanical engineering within a technical manufacturing environment Understanding and experience of manufacturing processes and technical information. Ability to present data effectively. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Understanding and experience of Health and Safety practices. Ability to lead teams and train individuals. Able to commute reliably to office base. Able to spend one or two nights away per month if required Strong understanding of materials, machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
