Were recruiting a Senior Engineer to join a major £20m new-build Distribution Centre project in Newport. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved from the ground up on a flagship logistics scheme, delivered by a contractor with a strong track record in industrial and distribution projects as part of a wider regional expansion programme.
The Role
As Senior Engineer, youll take the lead on all on-site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with programme and specification requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead setting out and provide day-to-day technical oversight on site
  • Manage and check design information, drawings, and specifications
  • Oversee temporary works, permits, ITPs, and QA processes
  • Produce and maintain accurate site records, including as-builts and technical reports
  • Implement and manage ITPs to ensure quality standards are achieved
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Promote a safe and proactive site culture at all times
About You
  • Strong background in groundworks, drainage, concrete, steel frames, and external works
  • Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Valid CSCS card
