Senior Engineer – RC Frame & Groundworks Location: Birmingham Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Approx. 1.5 Years Rate: £325 -£350/day based on the experience. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join an RC Frame contractor in Birmingham. This role is due to start immediately and will involve a combination of earthworks and reinforced concrete works. Key Responsibilities * Manage Site Engineers / Setting Out Engineers. * Provide site engineers with the latest up-to-date information. * Ensure all works are carried out using the most recent AFC (Approved for Construction) drawings. * Ensure all QA inspections are completed on time and that appropriate documentation is maintained. * Ensure engineers carry out all as-built surveys accurately and on schedule. * Call off materials and concrete as required. * Call off reinforcement when necessary. * Raise RFIs, TQs, and NCRs as needed. * Produce accurate daily site diaries. Requirements To be successful in this Senior Engineer role, you must have: * A valid CSCS card. * Previous experience working as a Senior Engineer or Project Engineer for an RC Frame contractor in the UK. * Strong experience in RC works and groundworks (minimum 3–5 years UK experience). * Proficiency with surveying instruments. * Good understanding of method statements, risk assessments, QA procedures, and site paperwork.
